Have a bitch that you would like to breed, but don't have the experience or the time to whelp a littler and raise neonate puppies? We can help! We have a plan to fit your needs. All pricing is based on size of the bitch.

PUPPY DOULA SERVICE

Want a second set of hands to help you whelp your litter of puppies? Doula service options:

Self supplied whelping - You provide all materials and supplies - 6 hours included. I provide my experience and recordkeeping and logs. You supply all supplies and materials. - $400
Whelping with my supplies- I include whelping box, bedding, disposable pads, towels, medical supplies, emergency formula, scale, puppy ID Collars, proper recordkeeping, tracking and more. 6 hours included, Whelping box and vet pads stay for the week and are delivered when the bitch's temperature drops (additional time may be requested as a rental), I bring medical supplies. - $700
Additional hours beyond 6 hours - $50 / hour
Rental or Purchase of equipment and supplies -
- Whelping box (48") - $75 per week. (28") - $50 per week. (48" round) - $20 per week
- Vet Pads (4) - $5 per week
- Scale - $10 per week
- Other supply rental can be quoted upon request
- I can also facilitate the procurement of needed supplies. Please contact me for a quote.

BASIC WHELPING PLAN

This package includes 3 weeks of bitch care, including 1 week pre delivery and two weeks of post care. Puppy pictures are done at birth and 1 week of age. Bitch and puppies go back to your home at 2 weeks of age. ADDITIONAL PUPPY CULTURE TRAINING IS AVAILABLE TO ADD TO THIS PACKAGE.

Small: Up to 25 pounds - $700 for 4 puppies. $50 per puppy after four.
Medium: 26-45 pounds - $800 for 4 puppies. $50 per puppy after four.
Large: 46-75 pounds - $900 for 6 puppies. $50 per puppy after six.
Giant: 76 pounds and up - $1000 for 6 and $50 per puppy after six.
ALL FEES WILL BE DUE - EVEN IF DYSTOCIA OCCURS AND C-SECTION IS REQUIRED.

EXTENDED CARE WHELPING PLAN

This package includes the basic plan plus an extended week of post care for both bitch and litter. Bitch and puppies go back to your home at 3 weeks of age. ADDITIONAL PUPPY CULTURE TRAINING IS AVAILABLE TO ADD TO THIS PACKAGE.

Small: Up to 25 pounds - $800 for 4 puppies. $50 per puppy after four.
Medium: 26-45 pounds - $900 for 4 puppies. $50 per puppy after four.
Large: 46-75 pounds - $1000 for 6 puppies. $50 per puppy after six.
Giant: 76 pounds and up - $1100 for 6 and $50 per puppy after six.
ALL FEES WILL BE DUE - EVEN IF DYSTOCIA OCCURS AND C-SECTION IS REQUIRED.

EXTENDED CARE WITH WEANING PLAN

This package includes the Extended Care Plan plus an extended week of post care. Puppies will be introduced to mush at 3 weeks of age and prepared for weaning from mom. Bitch and puppies go back to your home at 4 weeks. ADDITIONAL PUPPY CULTURE TRAINING IS AVAILABLE TO ADD TO THIS PACKAGE.

Small: Up to 25 pounds - $900 for 4 puppies. $50 per puppy after four.
Medium: 26-45 pounds - $1000 for 4 puppies. $50 per puppy after four.
Large: 46-75 pounds - $1100 for 6 puppies. $50 per puppy after six.
Giant: 76 pounds and up - $1200 for 6 and $50 per puppy after six.

WHELP AND RAISE PLAN

This plan includes 1 week of pre delivery care for the bitch and 6 weeks of post delivery care for the bitch and puppies. Puppies are weaned from mom at appropriate times and started on separating as a group. Puppies are exposed to different elements of a home, including common sounds, exposure to family members and other animals, and started on basic house training routines. Puppies and bitch go back to your home at 6 weeks of age. ADDITIONAL PUPPY CULTURE TRAINING IS AVAILABLE TO ADD TO THIS PACKAGE.

Small: Up to 25 pounds - $1000 for 4 puppies. $50 per puppy after four.
Medium: 26-45 pounds - $1100 for 4 puppies. $50 per puppy after four.
Large: 46-75 pounds - $1200 for 6 puppies. $50 per puppy after six.
Giant: 76 pounds and up - $1300 for 6 and $50 per puppy after six.

ADD ON PUPPY CULTURE TRAINING

We can add age appropriate puppy culture training to any package.

Basic Whelping Plan - Early Neurological Stimulation with each individual pup, trimming nails. $20 per puppy.
Extended Care Whelping Plan - Include all of the above and includes adding adding tactile items and other experiences that are age appropriate. $25 per puppy.
Extended Care with Weaning Plan - Includes all of the above plus in home socialization can begin, Sound protocols ae introduced, habituation, startle recovery, household noises. As they get more mobile, more objects are added that are age appropriate. - $35 per puppy
Whelp and Raise plan - Includes all of the above plus the age appropriate challenges and testing, introduce more interactive toys, outdoor time (Weather permitting), body touch training, crate introduction and more age appropriate activities. $50 per puppy.

ADD ON ITEMS

Dewclaw removal (vet appointment) $35 + You prepay for the vet service before the appointment.
Dewclaw removal and tail doc appointment (vet appointment) $45 + you prepay for the vet service before the appointment.
Critical care beyond the basic $50 per day per puppy.
Supplemental puppy feeding $20 per puppy per day
Supplementing bitch's feed $10 per day
Providing a lactation pudding for bitch $25 per day.
Puppy Photo session (other than birth photo and 1 week of age that is included in the whelping package) $15 per puppy.
Rental or Purchase of equipment and supplies - limited to availability

EMERGENCY PUPPY ONLY CARE

Sometimes the unexpected happens. Whether the mom rejected a puppy and you need help raising one puppy or the whole litter, it does not matter. We are here to help. Pricing for this depends on number of puppies and the type of care they need.

0-2 weeks old intensive care

2-4 weeks old moderate care

4-8 weeks old supportive care

PROTOCOLS

A deworming and vaccine protocol will be as follows while at Wild Feather Nursery:

Bitch & Puppy Deworming:

2 weeks
4 weeks
6 weeks

Puppy Vaccines:

6 weeks - DAPP vaccine (Please note that toy breeds may follow a different protocol decided based on veterinary recommendations due to size)

* A copy of all Wild Feather Nursery medical records for the bitch and puppies will be provided upon discharge.

* A minimum of half down will be required for all whelping plans. Payment by week for the remaining balance will be required after the first 4 weeks for the Whelp and Raise Plan.

*Wild Feather Nursery will keep you updated via text during whelping as time allows and is agreed upon in the contract.

* ALL FEES WILL BE DUE EVEN IF DYSTOCIA OCCURS AND A C-SECTION IS REQUIRED. ALL VETERINARY CARE IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

** Reservations required for whelping to approved dogs only. Vaccines in the bitch must have been up to date prior to heat/breeding. Proof of vaccines are required. Please call me if you need immediate puppy care or bottle rearing. Subject to space available.

** No intact male dogs will be on site.

** Other female dogs may be on site.

** It is recommended you send your bitch's own food with her to prevent gastric upset and stress.
